Tell me a little about yourself: Hi, I’m Destiny, born and raised in South East London, with a strong connection to my Nigerian heritage. I love travelling, taking pictures, experiencing new cultures and video editing (mainly my amateur travel videos) and I try to live by a simple motto of uplifting others and being slow to offence. Most importantly, I love food. What’s my favourite dish, you ask? anything seafood.
What has been the highlight of your career so far? Joining the TAI team. I’m still uncertain on how I got here, but I’m glad I did. I only recently started my ‘career’, so I don’t have much to go on, but this team has a unique passion and work ethic. It’s what I admire greatly and why I am glad to be part of this team.
What motivates you? Tomorrow motivates me – simply remembering there’s a future and what you do today feeds into it.
If you could have any animal, what would be your dream pet and why? A dog. I know it’s basic, but currently, having a dog would be a complete luxury that would require care, time and ultimately disorganise my life, but I look forward to the day I can adopt a beautiful dog.
Where is your favourite place to go to unwind? Anywhere warm, with abundant nature, exotic fruits, minimal insects and open blue water. The closest I’ve come to this is Koh Phangan in Thailand, it was stunning.
What is the best advice you have ever been given? Life is but a moment, live it well and do not dwell.
