Member dinner – Sydney

All members are cordially invited to a special members-only dinner in Sydney on Tuesday 14 March (@18h00-21h30 AEDT). The dinner, on the day of our Breakfast Seminar and also on the eve of our Future of ESG event, will be hosted by Roger Urwin, Marisa Hall and Tim Hodgson and will also be attended by other senior WTW colleagues. While it will be very good to meet in person again, we’re more exercised than usual about the key strategic challenges that face industry leadership and would like to air them with you around the dinner table. We see four areas that are vying for attention and change:   

  • Pivoting the investment model: the macro is uncertain and complex and the mandate continues to transition 
  • Adapting the people model: talent seems surprisingly scarce and the hybrid model needs work 
  • Resetting the business model: stakeholders are increasingly demanding and ESG is morphing in a contest for its future 
  • Reviewing the operating model set-up: technology extends its reach and power while organisational culture selectively adds an edge.
